This is how we can unbrick a bricked android device easily.

If everything fails just contact your manufacturers service center and tell them any fake story that can be realistic and tell them to find the problem or tell me whats wrong. By my personnel experience i can actually say that 70% of the time service centers are unable to find the flaw and are unable to identify that its a rooted and a bricked device both at the same tme. so they will surly give you a replacement in a short amount of time. You will have to be patient of course, as you are giving your device a second bonus life without even spending a penny over it. :D.

  • I boot looped my lg l70 and I pulled the menu up and click reset to factory and erase all data on the phone. When I click yes it said restoring to factory settings and when all that’s done it just keeps doing the boot loop again. Please help

    greg 2 years ago

    • You will only be bale to get out of the boot loop after you flash the stock rom on the phone with the help of a computer. As in your case the thing is, that you might have deleted the rom running on your phone, and flashing a stock rom on the phone will fix that issue.

        Jnille 2 years ago

        • Boot into the recovery mode, and you will find the cache option there. TO get to the dalvik cache, tap on the advanced options in the recovery and there you will have it.

  • My Moto X 2013 was a locked device i.e. its bootloader was locked. I initially unlocked my bootloader successfully and also rooted it, with twrp recovery installed without any problems. While flashing it with a custom ROM, I flashed it with a wrong firmware. Now its hard bricked. Cant boot normally, cant boot into recovery, nothing. I followed the unbricking tutorial. However I am getting the following error:

    Version : 0x8
    Min Version : 0x1
    Max Write Size: 0x600
    Model : 0x90
    Device Size : 0

    Write 11840 bytes @ 0x2a010000

    sdl_hello() – Invalid response: 7e030003331b7e
sdl_hello() – This is a NAK response from ROM code, which means the device has
been reset back to blank flash mode. Usually this is caused by power supply issues. Please try again with battery eliminator if it persists
Unexpected target reset, bailing out after 2 retries

Does this error indicate a hardware damage? Is my device truly dead? Can I do anything to solve the issue??? Please help guys.

  • My bootloader was locked on my SM-T113NU. I flashed TWRP Recovery then when I boot my tablet its just a black screen but I can tell the backlight is on. When I try to boot into recovery it does nothing and I can’t also boot into download mode.

  • I tried used the oneclick to root my phone , oneclick window, gave a ” no root for my device” but the phone went DEAD, it does not respond at all.

I followed your instructions to unbrick it and after pasting the .jar in the resources \heimdallpackage, and running the oneclickloader.exe, the heimdall does not install, it seems the pc is not reading the phone at all, which is undersantable since it is dead .
I took screeshots but cant find a way to insert them here.
Please be patient , I am 75 and trying to catch up with all this overwelming new tech.

  • My phone got bricked… help… I was trying to install a custom BootAnimation on my device (Lava Iris 300 Style)… it was good until i edited its (the BootAnimation’s) FPS limit from 24 to 30… now my device boots up with that BootAnimation, but stucks at middle of animation…

I tried to – 1) Wipe Cache Partition, 2) Factory Reset (this is ROM or Firmware related problem so factory reset wont work, I know, yet tried)…. 3) My device’s recovery mod does not have any type of menu named – “Wipe Dalvik Cache”… 4) I copied stock ROM to sd card and tried to install it…UNSUCESSFUL…. 5) i tried to SIDELOAD the ROM over ADB…Failed…
    6) My fastboot mod stucks with the inverted text written at left hand side – FastBoot Mode…
    7) Since my device cant boot… that’s why I cant enable the debug mod to let it detected by my PC, at all…

    Sourabh 2 years ago

    • Your device actually isnt bricked.
Try to load the older boot animation you deleted 1st.. then try to reboot. it will work as charm

  • My LG G Pro E988 IS bricked, pc cant recognize phone anymore , black screen when turned on, combo keys doesnt work. How do i solve this ? Do i need special equipment to unbrick it. Any info would be helpful . Thanks

    Nem 1 year ago

    • If you combo keys aren’t working this can be a tricky one. Make sure from the customer care that you haven’t harmed up the hardware buttons. Beecausse that can be really difficult to deal with in case of a bricked phone.
