Here are the step by step instructions that you need to follow so as to root optimus pro, but before you begin make sure that you have gone through the previous sections of the post too.

Extract this file to a suitable location on your computer.

  • Now head to Menu > Settings > Privacy > Reset Factory Data and click on it. This will reset your devices to the factory state and the default settings.
  • Now go to the location where ADB is installed. This is the folder where adb.exe is installed and should be somewhere in the C drive of your computer. Once there, launch a Prompt Command window by holding down the shift key and the left clicking on any empty space.
  • Type in the following lines with each line followed by the press of an enter button.
    adb devices

    echo 1 > /data/local/lge_adb.conf
  • Now go to the location where the SuperOneClick files were extracted and launch the executable file.
  • Open the drop down menu from the top right corner menu and select psneuter from the menu.
  • Now click on the Root button in the app to begin the rooting process. Once the process is complete, reboot your phone.
